Rexam Beverage Can La Selva Plant and Warehouse

Pallet tracking, Additional Outlets, Resilient Backbone

Scope:
A total of 4No access point locations were installed in the plant with three being installed to cabinet E and one being installed to cabinet B. Additionally a total of 10No new category 5 enhanced cables were installed from cabinets A, B and D. Finally to enable backbone resilience of the network 4 core fibre optic cables were installed between cabinets B, C, D and E. All cables installed were contained in galvanised conduit.

Within the main comms room cabinet (A) a total of 20No new category 5 enhanced cables were installed and additionally 2No new 24-port patch panel interlinks were installed to the new Dell cabinets.

At the new warehouse in La Selva a total of 2No access point locations were installed from the new cabinet location. All cables installed were contained in galvanised conduit.

All the above projects were carried out in conjunction with the SAP system installation.

Valdemorillo Plant and Fuenlabrada Warehouse

Valdemorillo Plant

A total of 3No access point locations were installed within the plant back to cabinet D. Additionally a total of 12No new category 5 enhanced cables were installed from cabinets A, B and D. Finally to enable backbone resilience of the network 4 core fibre optic cables were installed between cabinets B, C and D. All cables installed were contained in galvanised conduit. Additionally 2No new 24-port patch panel interlinks were installed to the new Dell cabinets from cabinet A in the main comms room.

Fuenlabrada Warehouse

There were a total of 4No access point locations installed, 2No of the access points were to the main cabinet and 2No access points were installed to the new cabinet in the centre of the warehouse. Additionally there was a total of 12No new category 5 enhanced cables installed with 4No of these cables installed to the centre cabinet and 8No cables installed to the main cabinet. To connect the new cabinet to the existing network a new 4-core fibre optic cable was installed. All cables installed were contained in galvanised conduit.

All the above projects were carried out in conjunction with the SAP system installation.
